HPA Announces 2014 Board Officers

Deerfield, IL – January 27, 2014 – The Hosted Payload Alliance Board of Directors has elected its Officers for 2014:

  • HPA Chair: Janet Nickloy, Vice President of Strategy and Business Development for the National Systems business unit of Harris Government Communications Systems (GCS)
  • HPA Vice Chair:  Nicole Robinson, Corporate Vice President for Communications and Government Affairs, SES Government Solutions (SES-GS)
  • HPA Treasurer: J.R. Jordan, Senior Manager of Strategy and Business Development, Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems, Space Systems product line
  • HPA Secretary: Col. David Anhalt, Vice President and General Manager,  Iridium PRIME

All four were re-elected as HPA officers and will continue to advance the Alliance’s mission to promote the benefits of hosted government payloads on commercial satellites. In 2013, HPA presented a variety of workshops, panels and its inaugural Congressional Hill Day to open the dialog between government and private industry.

"Hosted payloads have made tremendous strides toward becoming mainstream since the HPA inauguration in 2010, although we are not yet at full potential, said Nickloy. “The HPA board and member companies have planned a jam-packed 2014 to build the momentum and look forward to both industry and government engagement.”

The Board Officers are elected in the fall of each year, with their terms beginning the following January.

HPA's Executive Members are: Airbus Group, Arianespace, Boeing, Harris Corporation, Inmarsat, Intelsat General Corporation, Iridium Communications Inc., Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Raytheon, SES Government Solutions, and Space Systems/Loral.
